A- Rod Being Benched

Now isn't this something A-Rod and Nick Swisher are being benched for game 3. A-Rod is 3 for 26 so far in the playoffs.
He is 0-12 against right handed pitch in the playoffs. The Detroit Tigers look to try and make it 3-0 in the series that is best of seven as they come home with Justin Verlander on the mound.


Nick Swisher is as bad as A-Rod in the playoffs as he is 4 for 26 thus postseason. Eric Chavez is taken over third base and Brett Gardner is leading off and playing in left field this will be Gardner first start since April 17. Don't look for A-Rod or Nick Swisher tonight has they are both benched for game 3.
