Dave Dombrowski: Boston Red Sox Names Ex-Detroit Tigers General Manager as Team's President.

Dombrowski becomes the Red Sox's president of baseball operations Ben Cherington is stepping down as the team’s general manager on Tuesday.

Lets just hope yhe Detroit Tigers make the wild card. They killed the Cubs last night. I think we would be more in the race.

Detroit Tigers let go of Dave Dombrowski and promote Al Avila to GM. Its about time the Detroit Tigers were suffering with such a butt hole of a GM.

Maybe they can make some moves to get to the top. Tigers are 3 games out so they still have a little bit of a chance but next season will tell what Al is made of.

Its a scary job to have to report to Mike Illitch though.

Uh-Oh the St. Louis Cardinals might be in some deep water. As the FBI is investigating them for stealing player personnel info from the Houston Rockets.

Not a good move hasn't sports learned to keep their nose clean of anything. This has got to hurt the MLB a little bit.

Stealing is not good practice in baseball, or maybe it is LOL.

Bo Jackson offers QB Wilson advice. We're going to have another bo Jackson on our hands with wilson playing in Texas.

This year is going to be exciting in baseball, especially for the Detroit Tigers the new 3rd baseman wants the team that traded him to go 0-162 this season. Ian Kinsler who use to play for the Texas Rangers didn't like that the Rangers traded him so therefore wants the Rangers to go 0-162.

If your a Tigers fan I would say you should be pissed to know Ian Kinsler didn't want to be traded.

Rays Acquire Karns From Nats For Lobaton In Four-Player Deal. There have been some good moves this off-season in the MLB and the biggest news this off-season is that Derek Jeter is going to retire after the 2014 season and A Rod is coming back for the 2015 season. Follow @Guysontheblock

MLB owners & players officially approve expanded replay for the 2014 season. Now they need to put replay in all sports to make it easier on everyone.

It makes the game go by much smoother when the officials use the technology that they have been given soon all sports will have iPads. That will be a great day, you won't have to throw chairs anymore.

But its a good sign when the MLB is making improvements.

She is back guys! Kate Upton was spotted with Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. Not that its a big deal just thought all you Detroit Tiger fans would like to know. Maybe this year is the year for the Detroit Tigers, I guess we will see on opening day.

But we should be all happy for JV, Kate Upton is a good looking women and shes the bomb in a Tigers uniform.

Papi's beard sells for almost $11K, who would buy beard shavings from anyone. But I guess if its for donating 11K is a lot.

The beard trimings were sold on ebay with a signed razorby big papi.

Jim Leyland retired this morning its good to see the guy go. He needed to leave the Detroit Tigers because the way he managed the team just sucked. He didn't have much gas left in the tank to do much. If you can't win with some of the best hitters and starting pitchers in baseball why are you even in the game.

Good luck to Leyland and lets start winning some world series next year. What do you say to that?

Max, Pena, Miggy, and Sanchez sing along to "Sweet Caroline" at Fenway Park this afternoon. Miggy was fooled to join by Pena but its good to see that the Tigers are having fun and winning too! Let's keep it going guys you have a world series to win.

Tigers win game one in the Boston series 3-0. It’s going to be a good series and even better when Miguel Cabrera comes back into the lineup. Not that they need him but the tigers probably miss his bat The Tigers and the Red Soxs are both in the playoff race so every game counts but hope the Tigers come out on top of the series.

Now is the best time for baseball because every game counts and its time for playoff baseball.

The Tigers look to keep rolling as they open a four-game set vs. the Twins with Rick Porcello on the hill tonight at 7:08 ET

They are doing pretty well in this series but it is the Indians. Rick Porcello should able to go pretty far in this game.

Sources have said that Phil Jackson wants to coach baseball. He is done with basketball right now. Did you also know that Phil Jackson has more rings that any one in sports, the only team that has more is the NY Yankees with 27.

Phil as already advised with some MLB Mangers, so I guess we will see what is going to be in the works for him. Wouldn't it be cool to see Phil on a diamond.

Papa Grande is 3-0 as a tigers closer lets keep it up!

Detroit Tigers Win 7-4. Omar Infante drives in 3 runs and Papa Grande pitches a perfect 9th inning.

I know most of you guys were scared about Papa Grande return to the mound but he seems to be doing fine. As long as he doesn't do any funny business on the mound he might stay the 9th inning closer for the Tigers.

Whose's with me that he needs to get a few more pitches on the mound?
