David Beckham and MLS commissioner Don Garber confirmed on Wednesday morning what just about everyone has suspected for months – that the retired midfielder intends to own an expansion team in Miami.

There are no plans yet for a stadium, but they have to be in the works. If you are a MLS fan and live in Miami you should be having a great day with this news.

I am not a huge MLS fan but it might play out very well for David Beckham to be in a trending city.
