After firing Avery Johnson the Brooklyn Nets have found themselves looking for a new head coach and their top target is Phil Jackson. They will try for a hard push to get the 67 year old Phil Jackson has he was close to a third stint with the LA Lakers.

The Nets might have to dig deep into their pockets for Phil Jackson but sources say that it won't be a big deal to billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov has they would be a prefect match for each other.


Phil Jackson was on the New York Knicks team in 1973 the year they won a championship so it would be great for Mikhail Prokhorov to bring back a legend for the rivalry that is between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets.There are other coaches in mind through if Phil Jackson doesn't take the job like Mike Dunleavy, Flip Saunders, or Jeff Van Gundy
