Start A Tool Library

You might think that I am crazy but not really with the idea that I just got done reading about it sounds like this maybe a good idea. If you have a lot of tools laying around that you don’t know exactly what to do with. Start a tool library yes, you got it. Start a library with your tools.

The way it would work is the same as a library you let your friends and family check out your tools to use. Rather you have power tools, or hammers and screwdrivers check that stuff out to your friends and give them a due day on when you want it back and charge them. Or you could do it the other way and charge them to use the tool by the day.

Its a great idea if  you have extra tools or just don’t use your tools as much as you used too. And it could make your pocket jingle a little. You do however, may want to look into a few things before going around checking out your tools to friends. You will want to get insurance on the tools you check out and make sure you have a big enough inventory.
